<p>Call of Duty: Black Ops II has became Amazon&#8217;s most pre-ordered game ever, the company announced today. The previous record has held by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.</p>
<p>Whilst Amazon didn&#8217;t provide any specific figures regarding this record, it did state that the record was &#8220;shattered&#8221; by Black Ops II.</p>
<p>The game is also due to become GameStop&#8217;s biggest launch in the retailers history also. Tony Bartel (GameStop President) stated that:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;We are seeing the highest pre-orders in history. With its current place, this Call of Duty is on track to break records and is likely to be our biggest game launch of all time&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Only time will tell if Black Ops II will make a &#8216;killing&#8217; in the sales department. We&#8217;ll inform you immediately when they are released.</p>
