Blizzard has revealed the visually upgraded models of the male and female Blood Elves in their popular MMO. Speaking about the female character design, senior artist Dusty Nolting said:
”Something we did often was move things around in small but deliberate increments, to make sure everything was just right. It’s the delicate details like her nose shape or fingertips that represent the most challenging parts of upgrading the female.”
The male model was upgraded by senior artist Joe Keller who said he was able to keep the core Blood Elf traits while ”still maintaining his iconic look, bringing him to the level of the other new character models.”
Once the update is released, the only races without a visual upgrade will be the Goblins and Worgens. Blizzard is sure to start working on the final two races very soon.
