<p>Publisher 2K Games and developer Gearbox Software have provided a patch for the Xbox 360 version of Borderlands 2 to “prevent data loss” caused by an exploit which in turn was generated by a third-party program.</p>
<p>According to our source, the exploit was capable of wiping progress made throughout the game or even deleting characters entirely.</p>
