It was no surprise that Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad was the top dog at this year’s Emmy awards. Just about every nomination for the AMC drama was a win from Best Actor (Bryan Cranston) to Best Supporting Actor (Aaron Paul) to Best Drama Series. The only show that was a match for it was in Best Direction which went deserved to HBO’s True Detective. FX’s Fargo was also no surprise winning Best Miniseries. Sherlock managed to nab a few wins as well as Netflix’s prison comedy Orange is the New Black picking a handful of awards.
