The point-and-click adventure game, Broken Sword 5 – The Serpent Curse, is scheduled to release on Xbox One and PS4 this summer.
Previously released on PC after a successful KickStarter campaign, Broken Sword 5 follows the story of George Stobbart and a French journalist, Nico Collard, on the search for a stolen painting and a killer.
According to the developers, the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will include “additional animation and audio, a character gallery section, and many console-specific enhancements.”
North Americans currently will only have access to the digital version, but the game will also have a physical release in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The physical version will include a graphic novel which gives players an introduction to the fifth Broken Sword.
The game will also be easy to understand for most Europeans, as the game will be voiced in English, French, Spanish, and Italian with Russian and Polish subtitles.
