After their amazing success with the trilogy of Halo titles before passing them onto to 343 Studios, Bungie are creating their next title to rock the planet; Destiny. Although according analyst Doug Creutz it may not be until 2014 that the game is actually shipped.
“We had been assuming the new Bungie franchise would launch at the end of fiscal year 2013, with a considerable level of success, we are now pushing our assumed launch date of the title out to fiscal year 2014.”
The likely reason to change Creutz’s prediction was that Activision’s management admitted yesturday that fiscal 2012 would be a “trying time” due to Actision expecting year-over-year comparables relating to the amazingly strong debut of Diablo III.
