It hasn’t been the best couple of days for Nintendo’s console. Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced that they will be making no more mature games for the Wii U and today Activision has confirmed that the latest Call of Duty will not be coming to the platform. This is despite the fact that the last two games in the series, Black Ops II and Ghosts, both had Wii U versions.

The news came from Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey who said on Twitter, ”No, no Wii U. That was an Activision decision”. Sledgehammer Games is currently working on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions of Advanced Warfare whilst High Moon Studios works on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. The game is due for release on November 4.
