A new Call of Duty game will be revealed during the basketball playoffs on TNT on May 1. There has been a lot of speculation that the next game in the series will be a follow up to Black Ops.
According to Gamedeption, the meta description on the site mentions Black Ops. Coming from the official Call of Duty web site, it would make sense that there would be mention of the Black Ops series. That would make sense, but the site does not mention Modern Warfare. That, and recent rumors, pretty much confirm that the next title is indeed Black Ops 2.
