Candy Crush Dev Working On Call Of Duty Mobile

Call Of Duty Mobile Game Activision Blizzard Candy Crush

(Call Of Duty: Ghosts - Activision Blizzard)

According to a number of reports, as well as a job description, the developers behind Candy Crush are working on a Call of Duty mobile game. The game is being developed in conjunction with Activision Blizzard. The biggest indication is a recently discovered job ad for a position at developer King.

CoD Experience

In the job ad – which you can find here – the developers are looking for someone in level design with an experience in first person shooters. The job ad reads:

The aim is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre. The approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible while providing a very authentic game experience.

The ad also states that the developers are looking to create an amazing Call of Duty mobile game. It goes on to state:

We believe that great gaming experiences happen when they are developed by working in small, autonomous creative teams that control the whole process – from idea to amazing game. Our close connection with the player community gets us instant feedback and enables us to deliver truly magical moments.

CoD Mobile

It should also be noted that Activision Blizzard bought King in 2015. There are also two other related job ads; a senior network engineer and a senior tools developer. Both of these are more than likely related to CoD. As of yet, very little is known about the game, as it’s still in its early stages.

Even up until recently, it was unconfirmed that the Candy Crush developer was working on the title. Aside from the game being in development, almost no information has been released about the game. However, more details are bound to be released over the coming months. We’ll keep you updated when we hear more about the upcoming game.
