Capcom released the box art for the upcoming Dragon’s Dogma, which will be releasing on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on May 22, 2012 and on May 25, 2012 in Europe. The box art clarifies the North American and European release dates for the Resident Evil 6 demo. Players who purchase a new copy of Dragon’s Dogma for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will receive early access to the Resident Evil 6 demo. The demo will be available on Xbox LIVE in North America and Europe on July 3, 2012. The PlayStation 3 demo will see a September 4, 2012 release in North America and a September 5, 2012 release in Europe.
Resident Evil 6 has a two month wait between the Xbox 360 release and the PlayStation 3 demo. There is, regrettably, no news as to when the demo will release for those who do not purchase Dragon’s Dogma. Resident Evil 6 is now due to launch on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America and Europe on October 2, 2012. Japan will see an October 4, 2012 release. The PC version will release on a later date while a Wii U version is not planned.
