Capcom have stated via their Capcom-Unity boards that they will be supporting the 3DS eShop “in the coming months” even more by releasing their older Nintendo 3DS titles onto the eShop.

As you may be aware, Nintendo is trying to build up a digital storefront of retail games, many of which actually are available through the eShop on the day of retail release although games such as “Resident Evil” and “Street Fighter” which are (which some may class as) ‘older’ Nintendo 3DS games are not currently available.

Does this statement from Capcom excite you? The Nintendo eShop frequently gets criticised due to its pricing strategies which sees some titles such as “Super Pokemon Rumble” sell for £39.99 when it can be bought new in many stores between £14.99-£24.99. Is this the future?
