Yup… they really did it. ResidentEvil.Net is being designed by Capcom to basically be Resident Evil fans’ new Facebook, complete with collectibles, achievements, and prizes. By playing the game, as well as competing in different competitions based on who can defeat certain levels with higher scores, you’ll be able to earn points linked to your RE.Net account. With these points, players can then purchase special outfits to wear in game, collectible items to show off in their profile, and I’m sure there’s plenty more under development.
