Huge Calf Studios creators of Carried Away, have decided to take the success of their October 2017 release, and provide fans with a winter treat just in time for the Winter Olympics. Carried Away: Winter Sports is a Free-To-Play game released by Huge Calf Studios that takes the mechanics of Carried Away and adds all new content related to all things winter sports related.
Carried Away released in October, and gave players the tools to create ski-lifts, jumps, and bridges to get skiers to the top or bottom of a mountain. Now with Carried Away: Winter Sports, they’re adding even more sports to the mix.
In this new spinoff, you will help athletes in various sports by building bridges, ramps, and slopes to successfully make their way through six new events. These events are –
- Ski Jumping
- Slopestyle
- Big Air
- Alpine Skiing
- Boardercross
- Bobsleigh Jumping
Carried Away: Winter Sports will release on Steam for free on Friday, February 9th at 5 PM GMT; When people see the positive reviews from Huge Calf Studios’ debut with Carried Away, this new release gives them a chance to try a free game in the same style as Carried Away, before shelling out the money to buy the original game.
This is a great marketing strategy, and Huge Calf Studios has stated that they are releasing the spinoff for free so that people can have a bit of fun, and welcome in the beginning of the Winter Olympics in Style.
