Celebrate a ‘Silent Night’ of Terrors in The Order: 1886

“What could make my holiday break better?” you might be asking yourself right now, stuffed with food and lying on the couch with family. How about snapping necks and shooting mutants in an alternate, steampunk London? The folks at Ready at Dawn Studios want to wish you a silent night full of just that, apparently.

It may have been a year ago that The Order: 1886 was revealed at E3 2013 and subsequently delayed ’til 2015 just this summer, but by all accounts, the game’s still on track for a late winter release. In anticipation of seeing some well-rendered mustaches being stroked next February, Sony’s provided us with another reminder of how much damage just four people in dress coats can do.

Dubbed “Silent Night,” the trailer above doesn’t show off anything terribly new from what we’ve seen so far. We know that our Knights don’t pull their punches and how ugly its mutants are.

Set in an alternate Victorian-Era London where Man uses advanced technology to battle a powerful and ancient foe, The Order 1886 puts you in the polished boots of Galahad, a member of an elite order of Knights in the midst of centuries-old war that will determine the course of history forever.

The Order: 1886 releases Feb. 20th, 2015 only for Playstation 4.
