A second season for the anime Chaika – The Coffin Princess has been confirmed and will begin October 2014. The anime is based on the original light novel by Ichiro Sasaki.
This story is about 20 year-old Toru Acura, a retired soldier who is looking for meaning in his life since the last war. He meets a young teenage girl, Chaika Trabant, who happens to be a coffin-carrying sorceress. Toru decides to travel with her and find a reason for living.
June 20 will be the advanced screening date for this season’s final episode and will take place in Tokyo at the Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku’s Cinema 1 theater. Plus the anime cast will be recording a noteworthy radio episode! While Chaika – The Coffin Princess airs in Japan, Crunchyroll is streaming this intriguing anime series.
