At this year’s Gamescom in Germany we got a look at some new footage of Hellblade, an action game based on a Celtic myth. The video shows the main character, Senua, as she battles against the monsters inside her own mind. Mental health is a big issue in this title.
The game is being developed by Ninja Theory, who also created Enslaved, and Heavenly Sword. Unlike other games by the studio, Hellblade seems to have very slow combat with the camera in an over-the shoulder perspective. The game looks a little rough around the edges but it is still in development.
Hellblade will launch in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
