Christian Bale Secured the Role of Steve Jobs Without An Audition

<p>Aaron Sorkin has recently discussed how Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale did not have to audition for the role of Steve Jobs&comma; former Apple Inc&period; CEO&comma; in the forthcoming biopic on the technological inventor and entrepreneur&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>During a recent interview with <a title&equals;"Christian Bale Didn’t Have to Audition for Jobs Film Role" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;bloomberg&period;com&sol;news&sol;2014-10-23&sol;christian-bale-didn-t-have-to-audition-for-jobs-film-role&period;html" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"noopener noreferrer">Bloomberg<&sol;a>&comma; Sorkin explained how he &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;couldn’t be more excited” by having the former <em>Dark Knight Rises<&sol;em> star on board with the project&comma; while also claiming how Bale is a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;phenomenal” actor&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;We needed the best actor on the board in a certain age range and that’s Chris&lbrack;tian&rsqb; Bale&comma;” Sorkin said&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;He didn’t have to audition&period; Well&comma; there was a meeting&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Sorkin is currently working on a screenplay based on Walter Isaacson’s 2011 biography <em>Steve Jobs<&sol;em>&comma; with the writer already proving his skills on a biopic when he picked up an Academy Award for David Fincher’s <em>The Social Network<&sol;em>&comma; which focused on the rise of the social networking website Facebook and its founder and current CEO&comma; Mark Zuckerberg&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;He has more words to say in this movie than most people have in three movies combined&comma;” Sorkin added&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;There isn’t a scene or a frame that he’s not in&period; So it’s an extremely difficult part and he is gonna crush it&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Dubbed at this moment in time as &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;<em>Jobs<&sol;em>&comma;” the biopic has been confirmed by Sorkin to begin filming within the next few months&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Directed by Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle&comma; <em>Jobs<&sol;em> is rumoured for release in 2016&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Via&colon; <a title&equals;"Christian Bale Didn’t Have to Audition for Jobs Film Role" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;bloomberg&period;com&sol;news&sol;2014-10-23&sol;christian-bale-didn-t-have-to-audition-for-jobs-film-role&period;html" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"noopener noreferrer">Bloomberg<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
