<p>Shepard and Co. will be getting one final sendoff, as Bioware has announced both the <em>Citadel DLC</em> and the <em>Reckoning DLC </em>for<em> Mass Effect 3</em>; with <em>Citadel</em> being the last single-player DLC for the game.</p>
<p>In <em>Mass Effect 3: Citadel</em>, Shepard is the target of a conspiracy that finds him and his squad fighting from the Citadel Wards all the way to the Council Archives. Characters from <em>Mass Effect</em> and <em>Mass Effect 2</em> are said to make an appearance and fight alongside Shepard, including the one and only Wrex (woo!).</p>
<p>After all the fighting dies down and the cast have some quiet time, you&#8217;ll be able to gamble at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino or try your luck at the Armax Combat Arena; because there&#8217;s no better remedy for fighting than more fighting.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the <em>Reckoning Multiplayer DLC</em>, which will come free of charge, adds several new playable classes &#8211;The Geth Juggernaut, Female Turian Raptor, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit&#8211; several new weapons and equipment like the Venom Shatgun, Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle and the Assault Rifle Omni-Blade, and the terrifying (to be on the receiving end of) Biotic Hammer, wielded by the Krogan Warlord.</p>
<p>“The team has poured heart and soul into <em>Mass Effect 3: Reckoning</em> and <em>Mass Effect 3: Citadel.</em> As the launch of these chapters near, the feeling around the studio is bittersweet,” said Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the <em>Mass Effect </em>series.</p>
<p><em>Mass Effect 3: Citadel</em> has a release date of March 5th for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (March 6th for PS3 in Europe) and will be $14.99/1200 MS Points. <em>Mass Effect 3: Reckoning</em> will release next week, February 26th, for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (March 7th for PS3 in Europe).
