Claws of Furry – Because Ninja Cats.

Turtles aren’t the only ninja pets trying to grab your attention. Now Terahard Studios is bringing cats into the fold with Claws of Furry. Want to see some of the early gameplay footage? Look no further:

The Switch is pulling some photo realistic stuff off these days. Also, apparently, this video is a bit more representative of what you can expect from the game:

The game looks to be a hybrid of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games and a rogue-like death feast. Fortunately, Pussy Cat mode is available if you want to play the game as a more linear title.

Key features include 4-player cat-ch co-op (yup – just letting loose in this article) that lets you play the rogue-like, arena, pussycat and local co-op modes. Movies, of course, will be spoofed or used for inspiration. and for those that want something to work towards besides just beating a game, new costumes can be unlocked that grant unique gameplay properties.

What gets me most is the art style. With unique character designs and hand-painted art, the game looks like it will be beautiful on your TV, or in the palm of your hands if you go with the Switch version. Claws of Furry is looking to be a fun romp down the beat-em-up lane when it launches for the Switch, Xbox One and PC this Spring.
