Clerks 3 Coming Soon Thanks To Tusk

<p><strong>Kevin Smith&&num;8217&semi;s<&sol;strong> latest horror film <em><strong>Tusk<&sol;strong> <&sol;em>may have not been a smash at the box office or with critics&comma; but it did make a decent chunk of change&period; The money from the film has convinced some investors for Smith to proceed with a third <em><strong>Clerks<&sol;strong> <&sol;em>movie&period; Of course&comma; <strong>Smith<&sol;strong> still has his own little horror trilogy of sorts he has planned with <strong><em>Tusk<&sol;em> <&sol;strong>being his first and his next being <strong><em>Yoga Hosers<&sol;em><&sol;strong>&period; But <strong>Smith<&sol;strong> mentioned in a recent podcast that the <em><strong>Clerks<&sol;strong><&sol;em> trilogy is finally going to happen&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>Tusk was the absolute bridge to Clerks III&period; Because of Tusk I got my financing for Clerks III&period; A year and change ago I was desperately trying to get Clerks III made for the 20th anniversary and that desperation — I must have reeked of it because I couldn’t f–king find money and shit&period; But it was Tusk&comma; people going &OpenCurlyQuote;Holy f–k&comma; what else do you have&quest;’ and I was like Clerks III and they’re like &OpenCurlyQuote;Done&period;’ So&comma; everybody that’s like&comma; &OpenCurlyQuote;He failed&comma; he failed&comma;’ I’m like &OpenCurlyQuote;Thank you&comma; I failed into Clerks III&period;’<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>Given <strong>Smith&&num;8217&semi;s<&sol;strong> full plate of other films he wants to make&comma; chances are we won&&num;8217&semi;t be seeing this film for awhile&comma; possibly 2017 at the earliest&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;smodcast&period;com&sol;episodes&sol;september-26-2014&sol;">smodcast<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
