Those wanting more episodes of the anime Code Geass will now be able to watch more of the story by purchasing the DVD/Blu-ray set of the OVA series titled Code Geass – Akito the Exiled.
Although a third season hasn’t been announced or hinted at yet, the OVA is soon to be available in North America. In this OVA, Leila Malcal is a commander of a W-o unit and works alongside a perplexing character named Akito Hyuga. They complete extremely dangerous missions for the European army. Working alongside rebels to battle against Britannian’s army, both Leila and Akito end up facing a strange dark power. The possibility of this dark power thwarting Leila’s plans is looming closer. To find out what Akito’s past has to do with the darkness, you will have to watch this OVA. Akito the Exiled takes place in between the first season and the second of the original Code Geass anime series.
FUNimation has licensed Code Geass – Akito the Exiled in North America. The collection will be released on June 27th. Pre-orders are being taken for those who want to insure a copy. Both English and Japanese audio are included.
