The latest entry into the Company of Heroes series was due to be released soon but Sega have decided that the game isn’t going to be ready in time and thus has delayed it until the 25th June in both North America and Europe.

Company of Heroes 2 will benefit from this delay however, with both Sega and Greg Wilson (producer) chipping in to try and calm fans.

Sega said that the delay would: “help Company of Heroes 2 meet the high standard set by its predecessor, the highest rated strategy game of all time.”

Whilst Greg Wilson said that Relic hates to “disappoint fans” although did reiterate that players will be able to join in with an upcoming closed beta to help the team out.
