<p><a class="zem_slink" title="Deepcool" href="http://www.deepcoolglobal.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage noopener noreferrer">DeepCool</a> has officially announced a new <a class="zem_slink" title="Central processing unit" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_processing_unit" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia noopener noreferrer">CPU</a> Cooler named “Lucifer” which is their first <span class="zem_slink">fanless</span> <a class="zem_slink" title="Computer cooling" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_cooling" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia noopener noreferrer">CPU cooler</a> as part of their GamerStorm series.</p>
<p>Lucifer CPU cooler is designed to cool the mainstream <a class="zem_slink" title="NASDAQ: INTC" href="http://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ:INTC" target="_blank" rel="googlefinance noopener noreferrer">Intel</a> and <a class="zem_slink" title="NYSE: AMD" href="http://www.google.com/finance?q=NYSE:AMD" target="_blank" rel="googlefinance noopener noreferrer">AMD</a> <a class="zem_slink" title="Central processing unit" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_processing_unit" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia noopener noreferrer">processors</a> in fanless mode to create a totally silent system; meanwhile, Lucifer is capable of cooling high-end processors with the help of good airflow inside the case. The bundled 14cm patented rubber fan is able to enhance the <a class="zem_slink" title="Cooling capacity" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooling_capacity" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia noopener noreferrer">cooling capacity</a> of Lucifer up to 300W. Users can install the fan to either push or pull air through the <a class="zem_slink" title="Heat sink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_sink" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia noopener noreferrer">heatsink</a><span class="zem_slink">; but if you would rather not have any extra fans m</span>assive aluminum fins are designed as a pair of wings, and this provides enough heat dissipation area allowing the heatsink to have a fanless mode.</p>
<p>The heatpipes are firmly soldered onto the copper base to enhance the <a class="zem_slink" title="Thermal conductivity" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermal_conductivity" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia noopener noreferrer">heat conductivity</a> from the processor to the heatsink. The six pieces of copper heatpipes are specially placed asymmetrically to avoid the interference with the memory which can be a common problem for some of the larger heatsinks on the market today. All of the nickel plating finish doubles up as a enhancement to the aesthetics of the cooler while also increaseing the lifespan with anti oxidation surface providing you a longer lasting heatsink.</p>
<p>Lucifer will be available to buy worldwide from August but the availability may change in different regions. The suggested retail price of this cooler is around $60-$70.</p>
