The horror game series Corpse Party from Team GrisGris is to have a live action film adaption. Masafumi Yamada, a known horror director, will be directing the Corpse Party film. The first game in the series involves high school students who become trapped in the Heavenly Host Elementary school. If that doesn’t set a spooky image in your mind then think of the group of students being trapped with the souls of children who have mysteriously disappeared! Are you scared yet? No, oh well, at least I tried.
Manga adaptions was published perviously and video anime was released as well. The Corpse Party live action film will start filming in March and the movie will be released this summer.
