CounterSpy lands on PlayStation Network August 19

Yesterday, David Nottingham of Dynamighty took the PlayStation blog to announce the release date of CounterSpy.

Dynamighty is a ten person indie studio primarily made up of former Lucas Arts developers. They’ve been working on CounterSpy for some time now and are set to release the game across the PlayStation Network in a few weeks. CounterSpy is a side-scrolling action stealth game set in the Cold War era. Players will play as a C.O.U.N.T.E.R. agent, whose primary objective is to stop the Superpowers from destroying the moon with nuclear missiles.

CounterSpy is releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and the PlayStation Vita. The game will feature the popular cross-buy and cross-save functionality, which means if you purchase it for one PlayStation system, you will then have access to it across other PlayStation devices. CounterSpy is available for pre-orders now on the PlayStation Network, at 20% off for those who are PlayStation Plus subscribers. CounterSpy releases on August 19.
