Earlier this year Criterion founders, Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry left Criterion games to found a new studio Three Fields Entertainment. They announced the opening of their new studio today.
The official studio website right now only displays the studio logo and a few different contact links. No announcement has been made on what the studio will specialize in or of any new projects the studio will be working on has been made as of yet. This is probably so that they can fill out their employee list and have a solid team before they begin any work on new projects.
It will be interesting to see what the team at Three Fields Entertainment comes up with in the future though. Do you think founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry will stay in familiar territory by making racing games again like they did at Criterion? Or do you think we will see something completely new come out of this studio? Please answer with your comments below.
