Do you remember Cry of Fear? The fantastic mod for Half-Life Source by Team Psykskallar that brought horror to another level? If so, you might be happy to know that Cai Gausden (AKA CLG02) is producing a fanmade film around it. So, you might be wondering where the idea came about and who is behind this creation. Let’s get right into it and answer some of your questions.

The movie is based on the video game mod that took the world by storm during the advent of horror games in 2012. In it, we’ll get to see the world from the eyes of Simon Henriksson as he cruises through a world filled with monsters and abominations. However, there is a real struggle within Simon that he must face in order to escape from the hellish reality he’s found himself in.

A full trailer for the Cry of Fear movie will be released in Halloween. Thus, some niche gamers will be able to get hyped about the upcoming fan film. But, who is in charge? Cai Gausden is a passionate film creator that’s been in the field for 6 years. His biggest project as of late is Desolation of Anguish, in which two brothers get separated after a robbery gone awry, leaving the protagonist to fend off on his own and deal with the trauma caused by it.
