Cuphead Bows Out of 2016, Now Arriving in 2017

<p><em>Cuphead <&sol;em>has gone through several release dates&comma; but it seemed likely that 2016 was going to finally be its time to shine&period; Unfortunately&comma; the game from Studio MDHR has been delayed to mid-2017&period; The game was cited as delayed because &&num;8220&semi;<em>reducing the scope<&sol;em>&&num;8221&semi; of it in order to hit a release date is what would be required&comma; and they were not willing to do that&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The &&num;8220&semi;scope&&num;8221&semi; which Studio MDHR is referring to is likely the expanded level design that <em>Cuphead <&sol;em>underwent after previously only being a boss-rush game&period; It now contains full-fledged levels of platforming in between the bosses&period; One of its main selling points is its art-style&comma; which takes heavy influence from 1930s cartoons&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I played <em>Cuphead <&sol;em>when it was at Fan Expo 2016 in a demo state&comma; and a delay is not a bad idea from my minimal experience&period; I messed with some of the platforming and a boss battle&comma; both of which seemed to be a bit too redundant for prolonged enjoyment&period; Co-op seems to offer plenty of fun&comma; but it still feels like the game has more of a focus on boss battles &lpar;which is only natural&rpar;&period; It just needs refinement on its platforming&period; But damn it looks good&period; Hopefully&comma; you&&num;8217&semi;ll be able to experience <em>Cuphead <&sol;em>for yourself when it comes to Xbox One&comma; Windows 10 and Steam in mid-2017&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;studiomdhr&period;com&sol;cuphead-coming-mid-2017-2&sol;">Studio MDHR<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
