Some custom Mortal Kombat X controllers have been spotted at a retail expo in California. The Xbox One and PS4 controllers contain numerous changes including additional face buttons, enlarged analogue sticks and removed D-pads. Mortal Kombat X is also coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 but there was no sign of any controllers for those platforms.

The devices were photographed by Alex Jebailey, a community manager for Iron Galaxy Studios. He took them when he attended the GameStop Expo in Anaheim last week. So far neither Warner Bros. nor NetherRealm Studios have confirmed that these Mortal Kombat X controllers are official.

Mortal Kombat X is due to release in April next year.
