Daedalic Entertainment Announces New RPG Blackguards

<p>Daedalic Entertainment&comma; developer of point-and-click adventure <em>Deponia<&sol;em> and German distributor of <em>Torchlight II<&sol;em>&comma; has announced its upcoming turn-based RPG <em>Blackguards<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Daedalic has stated in a press release that the story of <em>Blackguards<&sol;em> will be &&num;8220&semi;significantly darker&&num;8221&semi; than the stories found in its other games&comma; with the player taking control of a convicted murderer who is accompanied by &&num;8220&semi;more or less loyal companions&&num;8221&semi; such as a drug-addicted half-elf and a lecherous wizard&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Daedalic claims that the game will focus on strong storytelling but will also feature &&num;8220&semi;lots of lethal creatures and other enemies waiting to be taken care of on more than 170 unique battlemaps&&num;8221&semi;&comma; and will deliver &&num;8220&semi;more than 40 hours of adventure&&num;8221&semi;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Blackguards<&sol;em> is scheduled for release in &&num;8220&semi;Q3 2013&&num;8221&semi;&comma; although no specific platforms have yet been announced&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
