Dark Souls Remastered Announced, Return to Lordran in May

<p>It was inevitable&comma; but Bandai Namco has announced that <em>Dark Souls <&sol;em>will be remastered for Nintendo Switch&comma; PlayStation 4&comma; Xbox One&comma; and PC&period; The popular FromSoftware game is arguably the most popular of their <em>Souls <&sol;em>titles and will be releasing on May 25th&comma; 2018&period; <em>Dark Souls Remastered<&sol;em> will feature updated graphics&period; Above is a quick trailer to remind you of the epic music and aesthetic of the games&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Most notably about this announcement is that it will be coming to the Switch&comma; which marks the first time the series has been on a Nintendo platform&period; When playing the game on the Nintendo Switch in TV mode&comma; expect it to run at 30FPS with 1080p resolution&period; Those with a PS4 Pro&comma; Xbox One X&comma; and PC can expect enhancements that allow the game to run at an upscaled 4K resolution and 60FPS&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There doesn&&num;8217&semi;t seem to be any other changes to the game&comma; but there will obviously be online connectivity brought back &lpar;a staple of the franchise&rpar;&comma; meaning newcomers to the franchise will still have the full experience available to them&period; I&&num;8217&semi;ll be curious how it feels on the Nintendo Switch with the Joy-Cons&comma; but other than that this seems like a fairly standard&comma; expected announcement&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Let us know in the comments below whether you&&num;8217&semi;ll be returning to Lordran or venturing into the world of <em>Dark Souls <&sol;em>for the first time&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Bandai Namco Entertainment Press Release<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
