After years of fans clamoring for a new Darkstalkers game, Capcom finally decided to give people what they wanted (kinda), in the form of Darkstalkers Resurrection; an HD Collection of sorts that will contain Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Darkstalkers 3.
Polygon notes that Darkstalkers Resurrection will run on GGPO (meaning less lag when playing online), achievements, a decent amount of HD filters, replay sharing, a spectator mode and a challenge mode. You’d be correct in thinking that this will be something akin to the recently released Marvel Vs. Capcom: Origins.
The game doesn’t have a definitive release date, but expect it to be out on PSN and XBLA sometime in 2013.
