The Western release of the game currently remains unscheduled for release

I still think that Daymare: 1998 is a great game that horror game fans would love. If you wish to know my in-depth thoughts about the game, I’d recommend reading my review on it. However, here are some good news for our Eastern fans. Daymare: 1998 is coming to PS4 on Japanese stores in the next year. While that’s great news, western players will be left wondering when it’ll come to their region.

Yes, by the way, there is a key visual for the game from Invader Studios and All In! Games. If you want to see how the box art of the game looks like, check this out:

The third-person survival horror game was first released for PC on September 17. The game is planned for release on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the west, but publishers Destructive Creations, All in! Games and developer Invader Studios have yet to announce an official release date.

Daymare: 1998 Japan Release Date on PS4

As for Daymare: 1998 in Japan, the PS4 version will be distributed both physically and digitally. The distribution of the game will be handled by DMM Games and players will have to pay 4,378 yen, according to these retail listings.

In other words, players from Japan will be able to hop on a journey that’s inspired by classic Resident Evil. Anything can happen when your daymares become real. We’ll have to wait and see.
