Earlier today, Deep Silver released the first gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2. The video, while showing pre-alpha footage, showcases the signature Dead Island violence coupled with improved visuals and gory melee combat. Dead Island 2 follows the events of the original Dead Island and this time players will enjoy the bloody action with the sunny shores of California as the backdrop.
Dead Island 2 is being developed by YAGER and will be released in the Spring of 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The game is being show for the first time at Gamescom 2014 in Cologne where players will be hacking and slashing zombies beneath the famous Hollywood sign.
