Sega’s crossover fighting game, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, now has an October release date for Western territories.
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is scheduled to release on PS3 and Vita on October 6th. The first editions of the game will include a bonus CD soundtrack, which includes work from notable Sega composers such as Jen Senoue (Sonic Heroes, Sonic Adventure series, Sonic and the Black Knight), Teruhiko Nakagawa (Shinobi), Naofumi Hataya (NiGHTS Into Dreams), Kenichi Tokoi (Sonic and the Secret Rings). This edition is limited.
The game features multiple characters from Japanese graphic novels published by Dengeki Bunko, and Sega. Some of the 14 playable characters included are Kirito and Asuna from Sword Art Online, Shizuo Heiwajima from DuraDura!!, and Rentaro Satomi from Black Bullet. Sega characters such as Selvaria Bles (Valkyria Chronicles) and Akira Yuki (Virtua Fighter) are on the roster as well. In addition, the game will include 23 support characters, who help players in battle.
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax will be available physically and digitally in North America.
