First Destiny 2 DLC, Curse of Osiris, Revealed and Dated

<p><em>Destiny 2<&sol;em> has been off to a bit of a rocky start&period; Developers Bungie have tweaked and improved the space shooter in some ways&comma; such as the story&comma; but have been criticized for other parts of it&period; However&comma; regardless of criticism of where the game is currently and where it&&num;8217&semi;s going&comma; one thing is for certain&semi; the first DLC is on its way&period; At the PlayStation presentation at Paris Games Week&comma; Sony showed off the first trailer for Curse of Osiris&comma; which will be released on December 5&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;3Gjl690gN1s" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The trailer itself is narrated by the warlock vanguard Ikora Rey&period; She talks about a new issue arising involving the Vex on Mercury&period; They have opened up an ancient gate&comma; with Vex from the past and future arriving to reshape the universe to their liking&period; You have been tasked to head to Mercury to investigate&comma; and to seek out Osiris&comma; who has the potential to help turn the tides against the Vex&period; The trailer goes on to show Osiris as he battles against the Vex&comma; and some spots look very similar to the Templar&&num;8217&semi;s Well in <em>Destiny<&sol;em>&&num;8216&semi;s first raid&comma; the Vault of Glass&period; Osiris has been an interesting figure in the lore of <em>Destiny<&sol;em>&comma; as he is a powerful warlock who was cast out of the city and forced into exile&period; It was on Mercury that he formed a cult&comma; and started the Trials of Osiris&comma; the original competitive mode in the first <em>Destiny<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;131104" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-131104" style&equals;"width&colon; 1000px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"size-large wp-image-131104" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;10&sol;30164554&sol;destinylighthouse1-1024x576&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1000" height&equals;"563" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-131104" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">Get ready to head to Mercury&period; Destiny 2&comma; Activision<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>The features that have been touted by Bungie in regards to the first DLC are pretty interesting&period; There will of course be a new story which features new and returning characters&comma; and a new planet to visit&semi; Mercury&period; On Mercury there will be a new PVE area&comma; the Infinite Forest&comma; as well the Lighthouse from the first <em>Destiny<&sol;em> will be a new social space for players to go&period; There will of course also be new strikes&comma; new PvP maps&comma; new adventures&comma; new weapons and gears&comma; but of note Bungie has stated there will be &&num;8220&semi;new raid content&&num;8221&semi;&period; It is unclear if that means that there will be a whole new raid&comma; or a revamp of the Vault of Glass&comma; or perhaps new challenges added to the current raid&comma; Leviathan&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Bungie still has plenty of story left to tell with <em>Destiny 2<&sol;em>&comma; and it looks like things are going to really get shaken up with Curse of Osiris&period; Have you been enjoying <em>Destiny 2<&sol;em>&quest; Still playing or are you already max power level and waiting for the DLC&quest; Let us know in the comments below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;NBxdo2NzSZ0">Bungie<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
