Activision has revealed that Bungie will be releasing a Destiny beta in July, but only for those who have pre-ordered the game on the PS3 or PS4 platforms. That will still be a lot of people as Activision has stated that Destiny is seeing a record number of pre- orders for a new IP. The announcement came at a press conference to discuss the publisher’s first quarter earnings. Thanks to Activision’s deal with Sony, it seems that Xbox gamers will have to wait a little while longer to get involved in Bungie’s latest project.
Destiny will release for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 9.
