Details Revealed for July’s Xbox One Update

<p>At the Xbox One E3 presentation&comma; they hinted at some new improvements coming with the July system update&period; Today&comma; on Major Nelson&&num;8217&semi;s blog&comma; Larry Hyrb confirmed what will be included in this release&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2014&sol;06&sol;05095314&sol;xboxfeedback&lowbar;bagogames&period;png"><img class&equals;"alignleft wp-image-62697 size-medium" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2014&sol;06&sol;05095314&sol;xboxfeedback&lowbar;bagogames-300x84&period;png" alt&equals;"xboxfeedback&lowbar;bagogames" width&equals;"300" height&equals;"84" &sol;><&sol;a>Before we get into the details&comma; Microsoft has launched a new initiative called <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;xbox&period;uservoice&period;com&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Xbox Feedback<&sol;a>&period; This is a new site where gamers can go and voice their feedback and recommendations&period; Major Nelson says the team relies on community feedback and to date  &&num;8220&semi;more than 65&comma;000 fans like you have suggested more than 4300 ideas and contributed over 180&comma;000 votes&&num;8221&semi;&comma; said Hyrb&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Below is what will be included in the next system update for the Xbox One&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Snap Mode for Achievements&colon; <&sol;strong> The ability to snap the list of achievements for games will allow players to track their achievement progress in real time&comma; while still playing the game&period; For those who need help with a particular achievement&comma; there is now a Get Help function for every achievement&period; Select Get Help and the Xbox will search the internet&comma; via Bing we presume&comma; and report back with a list of links which will contain tips on how to unlock said achievement&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Double-tap to Snap&colon; <&sol;strong>Need to get to Snap Center&comma; in well&comma; a snap&quest; Double-tap the Xbox Button at the top of your controller and it will open the Snap menu without leaving the game&period; If the app is already snapped&comma; double-tapping will allow you to switch between games and the app&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Choice of Spoken Language&colon; <&sol;strong>Residents of New Zealand&comma; Ireland&comma; and Austria will now be able to select their voice control by using English or German from other countries&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Future Digital Bundles and Compilation Discs&colon;<&sol;strong><br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8220&semi;We’re doing some work now so that publishers will have options for great digital bundle and disc compilation offerings in the future&period; As we test this feature&comma; we’ll be seeing more flexible combinations of game titles and game content&&num;8221&semi;&comma; said Hyrb&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>&OpenCurlyQuote;Like’ Game DVR clips<&sol;strong>&period; Gamers can now &OpenCurlyQuote;Like’ their favorite Game DVR clips and activity feed items in SmartGlass&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>No official release date has been give as to when people in the preview program should start receiving the update&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;majornelson&period;com&sol;2014&sol;06&sol;13&sol;xbox-one-july-update-preview&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Major Nelson&&num;8217&semi;s blog<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
