Deus Ex May be on Hold for a Guardians of the Galaxy Game

<p>It&&num;8217&semi;s all speculation right now&comma; but it sounds like we might not get a new <em>Deus Ex <&sol;em>game for a while&period; Not from Eidos Montreal&comma; at least&period; Instead&comma; sources have told Eurogamer and various other outlets that Eidos Montreal may in fact be working on a game based on Marvel&&num;8217&semi;s <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This would make a lot of sense&comma; since <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;marvel-square-enix-announce-multi-year-multi-game-partnership&sol;">we found out last week<&sol;a> that Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix were going to work together to bring Marvel back to video games&period; This deal specifically cited that Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics were two of the studios working the deal&period; <em>The Avengers Project <&sol;em>is being worked on by both Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Apparently&comma; there was a sequel planned for <em>Deus Ex&colon; Mankind Divided<&sol;em>&period; But it&&num;8217&semi;s not at all surprising to see them pulled off of that and put on a Marvel project&period; Especially one that consists of the <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<&sol;em> property&comma; which could make for an exciting space action adventure game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Eidos Montreal is very busy right now it seems with two Marvel projects on the go and <em>Shadow of the Tomb Raider<&sol;em> also getting love from them&comma; as was reported <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;kotaku&period;com&sol;name-of-next-tomb-raider-leaks-because-guy-had-it-open-1788419554">back in October<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Are you excited for the potential of a <em>Guardians of the Galaxy <&sol;em>game&quest; Or are you just disappointed by the fact that there won&&num;8217&semi;t be any more <em>Deus Ex <&sol;em>in the future&quest; Let us know in the comments below&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;eurogamer&period;net&sol;articles&sol;2017-01-30-dont-expect-another-deus-ex-game-anytime-soon">EuroGamer<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
