<p>Eidos-Montréal has been teasing a <em>Deus Ex</em> announcement for a couple of days now and it seems that the developer deemed today to be an appropriate time to <a href="http://www.deusex.com/news/Deus-Ex-The-Fall-Announced">announce what The Fall really is</a>. In what may be a disappointment for many, it has been announced that <em>Deus Ex: The Fall</em> is an iOS title set after the events of the the Deus Ex novel, Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect, and picking up right where that story left off.</p>
<p>“We’re really excited to continue the <em>Deus Ex</em> series on mobile and start a new journey”, said Jean-François Dugas, Executive Game Director at Eidos-Montréal. “The team has done an incredible job creating a whole new story and controls for intuitive touch screen gameplay, whilst staying true to the <em>Deus Ex</em> universe. Players can expect exploration, action, hacking, stealth, social enhancers, player choice and consequence &#8211; the full <em>Deus Ex</em> experience.”</p>
<p><em>Deus Ex: The Fall</em> is set to initially launch on the iPhone and iPad, with an Android version planned for the future. The first installment of this new series will release at $6.99.</p>
