Blizzard has announced that the highly anticipated Diablo III will be released on May 15th. This is a day that gamers have been waiting 12 years for. Buy.com is running a special pre-order sale on the Collector’s Edition of Diablo III.Buy.com is offering Diablo III at a pre-order price of $85. In order to get the game at this price, first time users will have to use a $15 off $75 coupon (if the offer is still valid). Amazonis still offering the game at full price. Buy.com is also offering 10x reward points, which will allow gamers to take $8.50 off of a future purchase.The Diablo III Collector’s Edition contains a behind the scenes, 2 disc dvd/Blu-Ray, a Diablo skull and a 4GB soulstone flash drive which contains the full versions of Diablo II and Diablo II Lord of Destruction. Gamers will also receive the Diablo III soundtrack, a World of Warcraft pet fetish Shaman, Starcraft II Battle.net portraits, a 200+ page Diablo III art book, and Diablo III Aesthetic Artifacts for the game. Considering the game is PC only, which is a lot of content for a collector’s edition.
