Activision Blizzard has confirmed the latest sales figures for Diablo III in their latest company investors report.
Originally released in May 2012, Diablo III is the third entry into the diablo series which requires gamers to constantly be online when playing the title through their PC. Since the game was originally released new features have been introduced to try to keep players active on the game such as an online auction house which can actually earn players real-money through selling in-game items such as weapons.
Activision Blizzard’s report states that Diablo III has sold 12 million copies. Impressive considering the game hasn’t even been on the market for a whole 12 months as of yet.
