You can be forgiven for not realizing that Digimon is still a ‘thing’, it was only last year that a new title to the series, entitled: “Digimon World Re:Digitize” was released on the PSP in Japan alongside a recently launched MMO as if to prove that the series still has some fight left in it.
It comes after all of this news however that Namco Bandai are going to be releasing an updated version of the same PSP game that was released which they are now calling: “Digimon World RE:Digitize Decode” which will launch on the 3DS in Japan later this year.
The game features numerous story chapters and new Digimon which, believe it or not, are still being added to the mix as Pokemon do with such greats such as Trubbish and Zekrom for example.
Although it isn’t confirmed, we can assume that a Western release could happen if the game is successful. Would you be tempted to give the digital monsters another chance if this was the case? Let us know in the comments below!
