Director of Hellboy Considering Third Installment to Franchise

<p>Hellboy film director Guillermo Del Toro hinted towards an attempt to secure a third installment in the popular film franchise&comma; whilst speaking to <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;insidemovies&period;ew&period;com&sol;2012&sol;07&sol;14&sol;hellboy-3-guillermo-del-toro-ron-perlman&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Entertainment Weekly<&sol;a> and promoting upcoming film &&num;8220&semi;Pacific Rim&&num;8221&semi; at Comicon&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Both Del Toro&comma; and the film&&num;8217&semi;s star Ron Perlman are willing to attempt the third installment&period; &&num;8220&semi;I can say publicly that now we are together in trying &lpar;Hellboy 3&rpar;&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Perlman continued to give light on the ideas resonating from the the director and himself&period; &&num;8220&semi;The two movies were really set up to have this unbelievable resolve&comma; everything that was done in both movies was leading up to this destiny&comma; written in stone&comma; of what Hellboy has been summoned to Earth to do&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Perlman added that &&num;8220&semi;To not do it &&num;8211&semi; particularly in the light of the scope that Guillermo is thinking of for the resolve &&num;8211&semi; would be in my mind a little bit of a shame&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Del Toro has yet to speak to Hellboy creator Mike Mignola about the sequel&comma; nor has he contacted a studio&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lpar;Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;ca&period;ign&period;com&sol;articles&sol;2012&sol;07&sol;16&sol;comic-con-guillermo-del-toro-considering-hellboy-3" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">IGN<&sol;a>&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
