Disney Infinity has finally been revealed and a lot of info has come out of it’s Hollywood press conference (Polygon has a really good, and quite long, report about the whole thing, so go check that out).
Disney Infinity will take a cue from Activision’s Skylanders, in that physical toys will be available for purchase that allows players to add more characters, worlds, experience and items to the game’s Toy Box mode. Infinity will also support co-op play and it seems that cross-platform play could be a feature as well.
The title is scheduled to release this summer, with starter packs, play sets and figure packs going for $74.99, $34.99 and $29.99, respectively.
If anything, however, Disney Infinity has only reignited my desire to watch The Incredibles again.
