<p><em>Dark Souls</em> fans can praise the sun today because Bandai Namco have announced that there will be new DLC for <em>Dark Souls III</em> this October with <em>Ashes of Ariandel</em>.</p>
<p>Players will uncover a &#8220;terrible secret&#8221; about the world in the frozen land of Ariandel, which will explain why the land became the way it is. In addition to a new environment to explore, the DLC will include new weapons, armor, and magic to help us fight the horrifically challenging enemies that await us. If multiplayer is your style, you&#8217;ll be happy to know there will be new features for it.</p>

<p>The DLC will be arriving to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25th, 2016 at $14.99. Those who want to play the second expansion as well (which is scheduled for a release sometime Early 2017) can but the season pass for $24.99, which will have both DLC instalments.</p>
<p>When the game initially released, <em>Dark Souls 3</em> <a href="https://bagogames.com/dark-souls-3-breaking-records-bandai-namco/">became the fastest selling</a> and most successful day one release for Bandai Namco Entertainment America. <em>Dark Souls 3</em> was developed by Bloodborne and Armored Core developer FROMSOFTWARE and was directed by the initial game&#8217;s director Hidetaka Miyazaki. In the core story of <em>Dark Souls III</em>, you must find the five Lords of Cinder and bring them back to the Firelink Shrine.</p>
