Here’s something to annoy you today, regarding Mass Effect; because we all needed that, right? Apparently, despite its upcoming trilogy including all 3 of the Mass Effect games, the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will contain different amounts of DLC. With the PC version offering the most, but still missing a lot.

The news comes from Eurogamer, who notes that the PC version of the Mass Effect Trilogy comes with the two DLC add-ons for Mass Effect (Bring Down the Sky, Pinnacle Station), the Cerberus Network DLC for Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3‘s Online Pass, so that you can play multiplayer and stuff. The Xbox 360, meanwhile, only comes with the Cerberus Network and the Online Pass for Mass Effect 3. Did you notice that the big chunks of DLC for Mass Effect 2 (Lair of the Shadow Broker, etc) are MIA? Yeah, none of the versions coming out have that. Not even the free multiplayer stuff for Mass Effect 3 is mentioned as being on the disc.

Oh, and you PS3 guys? There’s still no word on when/if your version of the Mass Effect Trilogy is coming. Same goes for anyone outside of North America. We, however, will be able to purchase the trilogy on November 6th for either the PC or Xbox 360. Although, if anyone who plays PC games a lot were to be given a choice, I think they’d go for the PC version. Mostly because it’ll save them money that they can then spend to get the rest of the DLC.
