Doctor Strange Set For Summer 2016

<p>We&&num;8217&semi;ve known that one of the films set for Marvel&&num;8217&semi;s Phase 3 was going be <em><strong>Doctor Strange<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&comma; but didn&&num;8217&semi;t have a date set even after the announcements for <em><strong>Captain America 3<&sol;strong><&sol;em> and <em><strong>Guardians of the Galaxy 2<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period; Now we know that <em><strong>Doctor Strange<&sol;strong><&sol;em> has a date set for <strong>July 8&comma; 2016<&sol;strong> with a shooting schedule set for mid-2015&period; This will place it two months after <em><strong>Captain America 3<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&comma; debuting on <strong>May 6&comma; 2016<&sol;strong>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>What little we know about the film thus far is that it&&num;8217&semi;ll be directed by <strong>Scott Derrickson<&sol;strong> &lpar;<em><strong>Sinister<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&rpar; and written by <strong>Jon Spaihts<&sol;strong>&period; While there is no official word on who is playing the title role&comma; <strong>Joaquin Phoenix<&sol;strong> seems to be in final talks for playing character&period; This is certainly one Marvel film to keep an eye on as it will not be an origin story and instead begin with an already established Doctor Strange after the accident that gave this surgeon his magical powers&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;screendaily&period;com&sol;news&sol;marvels-doctor-strange-set-to-shoot-in-uk&sol;5077642&period;article">Screen Daily<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
