Talking with Siliconera, developer Dontnod Entertainment say that a sequel to one of 2013’s lesser-known games, Remember Me, is “ready to be made.” While the game’s concepts are apparently still in the very earliest stages of development, Dontnod says that the potential of a Remember 2‘s fate is in publisher Capcom’s hands.
“We know what we would do for Remember Me 2,” said Dontnod creative director, Jean-Maxime Moris. “The main story has been written we know what we would add to the recipe. We know what we would fix. It’s a game that’s ready to be made, but that decision is Capcom’s to make.”
A stylish, combat-driven game with a few interesting puzzles, Remember Me’s reception was rather lackluster. We were rather impressed with Dontnod’s latest work with their episodic Life is Strange series, which the studio claims is their primary focus as of now.
