Doom Will Finally Fight Through Hell in May

<p><em>Doom <&sol;em>is finally going to come out after years in an unknown state&period; An alpha for the game was done back in December 2015&comma; but news since then has been relatively silent and even the alpha itself was kept fairly low-key&period; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;bethsoft&period;com&sol;en-us&sol;news&sol;doom-available-worldwide-may-13-2016-">Bethesda has announced today<&sol;a> that players can expect to fight through hordes of demons on May 13th&comma; 2016 &&num;8211&semi; yes&comma; that is Friday the 13th&period; Along with the release date&comma; Bethesda released a trailer to showcase the game&&num;8217&semi;s high-octane&comma; brutal gameplay&comma; which you can view above&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Brutal&&num;8221&semi; doesn&&num;8217&semi;t even begin to describe the violence players will get to inflict upon the demons of Hell&comma; but the trailer does a great job of showcasing just how frantic the gameplay is and roughly what to expect when it comes to the game&&num;8217&semi;s gore&period; Announced alongside the release date was also the collector&&num;8217&semi;s edition of the game&period; That version will contain a 12&&num;8243&semi; statue of the Revenant &&num;8211&semi; one of the game&&num;8217&semi;s more iconic enemies&period; The game will come in a metal case&comma; as well&period; Those who pre-order will receive a Demon Multiplayer pack that consists of &&num;8220&semi;<em>a unique demon armor set with three skin variations&comma; six metallic paint colors and three id® logo patterns that can be applied to weapons and armor<&sol;em>&&num;8220&semi;&period; Pre-orders also include six Hack Modules&comma; which gives players an advantage in multiplayer matches&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The exclusion to all this news is when exactly the <em>Doom <&sol;em>Multiplayer Beta will happen&period; Players who pre-ordered <em>Wolfenstein&colon; The New Order <&sol;em>were promised access to the multiplayer beta&comma; but <em>The New Order <&sol;em>came out back in May of 2014 and no news has been given of when the beta will happen&period; A few people were selected out of the beta pool to join the alpha&period; Hopefully news comes soon for those who bought <em>Wolfenstein&colon; The New Order <&sol;em>for the <em>Doom <&sol;em>beta&comma; exclusively&comma; and those who just want to shoot some demons sooner than May&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;bethsoft&period;com&sol;en-us&sol;news&sol;doom-available-worldwide-may-13-2016-">Bethesda Softworks Press Release<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
